Without a doubt, one of the best things about warmer weather is the return of outdoor festivals, carnivals, and concerts. You can find many small, free local events through your local community center web page or newsletter. For some of the bigger events look at the calendar for your area on Ticketmaster.com. They have a great collection of the big events going on in the area and you may save a few bucks if you use a coupon code!

Weekend Camping Trips

Now that the temperatures aren’t going to be dropping below freezing anymore, you can start dusting off the camping gear and plan some weekend camp trips. It may be a little cold now, but it’s the perfect time to get ready. Go through all of your supplies and see if anything needs some repairs or replacements.

Afternoon or Evening Hikes to Watch the Sunset

If you don’t quite have the time to take off for a weekend, it does not stop you from enjoying beautiful nature at this time of year. Find somewhere near enough that you can just take a nice and casual hike or walk to see the sunset. If you live in the city, it’ll be a nice chance to get some fresh air.

Picnics and Barbeques in the Park

For those days that just can’t be passed up, there is always the last minute barbeque or picnic at the local park. Shoot out a group message, call your best friends, throw some toys and refreshments in the car and before you know it, there’s a little party. The spring is truly the best time of the year!
